Daniel Rivas earned a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of North Texas in 2019. Currently he is pursing a Master’s in Flute Performance from Wichita State University, where he studies with Dr. Carmen Lemoine. He is a member of the WSU Graduate Wind Quintet, WSU Wind Ensemble, and Co-Principal of the WSU Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has performed at the National Flute Association’s Convention, Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival, Summer at Eastman, Texas Summer Flute Symposium, and was a winner of the 2015 & 2016 NFA Collegiate Flute Choir Competition.
