Senseney Music Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation which was established for the administration of the LINK program and the Robert Marshall Memorial Scholarship.
LINK stands for Lonely Instruments for Needy Kids. The program is run by the Senseney Music Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. The Foundation accepts tax-deductible donations of used band and orchestra instruments, cleans and repairs them, and donates them back out to children who can otherwise not afford a musical instrument.

The Foundation also established a memorial scholarship in memory of Robert Marshall, a long-time Kansas music educator who passed away in 2010. The scholarship awards $1000 annually to a high school senior enrolled in a music degree program upon graduation.
About the Robert Marshall Memorial Scholarship
Bob Marshall (1946-2010) was a band director for many years in Peabody, Kansas with a legendary program of the finest quality. He went on to manage the instrumental music department at Senseney Music for 14 years, where he counseled, influenced, and mentored countless music educators. He was a friend to all and passionate about music education. Bob passed away in July of 2010. The scholarship was funded by contributions by friends, family, and those who knew of his work in music education.
